We’ve added three new Canson fine art papers to our lineup. The Canson papers are all 100% cotton and are a cost-effective option to the Hahnemuhle papers in our lineup.
Canson-ARCHES 88
is a prestigious printmaking paper with an ultra-smooth surface. It has a unique inkjet receiving layer which produces deep blacks, and a superb tonal range. 100% cotton, OBA Free, and mould-made so that it deckels evenly on all sides. Even without OBSs, it's brighter than many papers with OBAs.
Canson-ARCHES Aquarelle Rag 310gsm is a highly textured watercolor paper, crafted without repeating patterns. Using lamb’s wool pads, the process lifts cotton fibers to create a rich, top-surface texture. Mould-made for random fiber direction, it minimizes curling and ensures natural deckle edges when torn. Since 1492, ARCHES® has been renowned among artists for its exceptional fine art papers. Made from 100% cotton, it features a pure white base free from optical brightening agents. Its unique inkjet receiving layer delivers superb colour rendition, deep blacks, and excellent tonal range, making it ideal for fine art prints in both limited and open editions.
Canson-BFK Rives is a classic printmaking paper with a refined soft grain and a beautifully supple feel. Made on a traditional cylinder mould press at the ARCHES® paper mill, it’s 100% cotton, pure white, and OBA free. Its unique inkjet receiving layer produces superb colour rendition, deep blacks, pure whites, and an excellent tonal range—perfect for digital fine art prints in both limited and open editions.
